Professor Srivastava Recognized for Two Decades of Leadership in Information Systems

HEC Paris Professor Shirish C. Srivastava, was awarded for longstanding leadership, service, and contribution to the discipline of Information Systems.

AIS Sandra Slaughter to Shirish Srivastava

Shirish C. Srivastava, Professor of Information Systems at HEC Paris, has received the Sandra Slaughter Service Award from the Association for Information Systems (AIS). The award was presented at the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) in December 2025, in Nashville (USA).

This distinction recognizes Professor Srivastava’s longstanding leadership and sustained service to the Information Systems community. Over the course of his career, he has contributed to the discipline through a wide range of roles and initiatives - spanning editorial responsibilities, mentorship, and conference leadership.

 

Sandra Slaughter award to Shirish Srivastava

 

Professor Srivastava has held editorial roles in leading Information Systems journals. He is currently Senior Editor at the Journal of the Association for Information Systems (JAIS) and the European Journal of Information Systems (EJIS), Associate Editor at Information Systems Research (ISR), and an Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Management Information Systems (JMIS). He has also served as a mentor in doctoral and faculty consortia, and as a track chair and program chair at major Information Systems conferences.
